What do you get when you add protein, healthy fats, and fiber? Complete Hormone Bliss! That's why this mixed berry protein porridge is perfect. It checks all the boxes to start your day off right.
If you like your breakfast on the sweeter side, try adding a little maple syrup or honey. Fun toppings could be almond butter, banana slices, fresh berries, or extra cinnamon to give it that cute look. If you don't have almond milk you can certainly use another dairy alternative milk instead, like coconut or oat! Same goes with the almond butter. I don't keep almond butter on hand often, I'm more of a peanut butter girl so I've substituted it here just fine. I used a mixed bag of frozen strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries.
Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.

Add the almond milk, oats, and frozen berries to a pot over medium heat. Bring the milk to a gentle boil and continue to cook for three to five minutes or until the oats begin to soften and thicken and the berries are cooked through.
Add the cinnamon to the pot then slowly stir in the egg whites and continue to stir until the porridge becomes thick and creamy. Transfer to a bowl and top with the almond butter. Enjoy!
